WROUGHT IRON FURNITURE
Wrought iron is pure iron that is combined with a glass-like material that, when heated, can be hammered into shape. Summer Classics products are hand forged with superior steel, using the same process as blacksmithing. The results create a textured mill scale finish, the same texture found in fine antique iron ornaments and horseshoes.

Your furniture has been coated with the finest outdoor finish available. The pre-treatment is an electro-cathodic primer bath, which is much like the way metal is plated with gold or silver. This initial step seals the raw metal. Then, a polyester powder color coat is applied. This state of the art process is used by automobile manufacturers for coating essential parts of automobiles.

WROUGHT IRON AND WROUGHT ALUMINUM CARE AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend that you wash your furniture periodically with a mild liquid soap such as car wash soap. Scuff marks can be removed with a light abrasive. If the furniture is scratched down to the bare metal, we recommend sanding with a wire brush or fine-grained sandpaper. Then apply two coats of Rustoleum™ and follow with a matching color topcoat. Your furniture has replaceable nylon foot glides to protect the finish and your floor. Touch-up paint and additional foot glides can be ordered through your local Summer Classics Dealer or our Customer Service department.

FABRIC CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Outdoor Prints Spot wash briskly with a lukewarm solution of mild liquid soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove soap and then air dry. If spot remains, use a mild detergent and water. Rinse entire cushion or umbrella with clean water and then air dry.

100% Cotton Prints Professional or dry clean only

Sunbrella® and Jacquards Brush off loose dirt, hose down and clean with a mild natural soap in lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove soap. DO NOT USE DETERGENTS. For stubborn stains: soak the fabric for twenty minutes in a solution of no more than 4oz. of non-chlorine bleach and 2oz. of natural soap per gallon of water. Following this type of heavy cleaning treatment and when water repellency is a factor, the fabric should receive an application of an air-curing re-treatment, such as 303-Hi Tech Fabric Guard or a similar product. Fabric may be dry cleaned but a water repellent treatment must be applied to the fabric after dry cleaning to re-establish water repellency. Do not subject to excessive heat, steam press or dry in dryers.
